"Dyno Rod, Black Rod....your not black are you Rod"?

"Yes"

Well made me chuckle

It's been OK on the whole...some very funny gags but overall not up to quality of the originals which would be almost impossible to top.

You can't deny that Armando Ianucci's writing skills are missed to a certain extent

Re: This Time with Alan Partridge
was all a bit shit. the good moments were in spite of the format rather than because of it. the off site bits were okay.

coogan was trying much too hard as well and hammed it up to mrs brown's boys tier shiteness at times.

bring back mid morning matters.

Never really watched it much before but that line had me in stitches for about 10 minutes

I’ve enjoyed the series, I’d rather see it lose the real time tv show format though and return to the Im Alan Partridge style if he was given another series.

Not a patch on The Day Today, Knowing Me or I'm Alan Partridge.
Please don't give him another series you shit.

Re: This Time with Alan Partridge
Last night's final episode summed up the series for me; very hit and miss, mostly miss. Still the ending suggests another series up coming, I'm going to convince myself it can be redeemed.

It's dreadfully unfunny. Shows how much writers matter.

Time to buy a park home in Diss for "Partridge". He's DEAD to me.

I thought it’s been getting better every week and today’s was the funniest.

Re: This Time with Alan Partridge
It was shit tonight.

Him falling out with the other presenter was so clumsily done. They could and should have built it up slowly over the past 5 eps, yet nothing really and then all of a sudden just a very clunky reason thrown in and it goes from 0-60 in five seconds.

Poor writing.

Tonight’s episode was pretty poor.

Enjoyed the series, tonight was classic Partridge, a real cringe fest.

Thought tonights was easily the best of the bunch. Alan back to his irritating, objectionable best, and genuinely laugh out loud.

Getting rid of that bland bird from the sofa was the best thing he could do. Just a pity he waited until the last episode.

Been a bit hit and miss. The corporal punishment episode was by far the standout episode so far for me.

Re: This Time with Alan Partridge
Episode 5 was more like a parody of Partridge. Deeply unfunny.
Time he dumped the character.

As Coogan is basically a Paddy, he makes a perfect Irish gap-toothed simpleton.
